The Mission
VisionaryVoter.org serves as the bulletin board for an engaged citizenry.
The events of 2016 require more from us. We’ve learned with shattering clarity the importance of checks and balances; a free press; and engagement in the civic life of our country.
Many of us found we had more questions than answers about how government works.
Like it or not, we are a community. And we each bear a responsibility for the quality of that community.
What we’ll do
Here, we’ll attempt to capture the wealth of news, ideas, and tools to build a more equitable, compassionate, and science based approach to our democracy.
Let’s move beyond handwringing and name calling.
Let’s acquire a deeper understanding of our system of government.
